At the Auto Expo 2023, the iQube ST was
officially unveiled. Here is everything you need to know about it. In India,
the upgraded TVS iQube electric scooter was introduced the previous
year. The updated model comes in two new variants, S and ST, and
provides a better range, more performance, and more useful features.
By the end of March 2022, 20 cities across the nation
will have the TVS iQube Electric Scooter for sale. In order to help establish a
charging network in those cities, the company signed an MoU with Convergence
Energy Services (a Government of India initiative) in June 2021.
The starting price for the TVS iQube
electric scooter in India is Rs. 1,06,568. There are 2 variants and 7
colors available, with the top variant starting at Rs. 1,08,331. The TVS
iQube's motor produces 3000 W of power. Front drum and rear disc brakes
are available on the TVS iQube.
TVS recently introduced the iQube electric scooter in India,
joining a number of other major manufacturers in the green revolution. The
iQube, the company's first two-wheeled electric vehicle, boasts a traditional
scooter-like design and a plethora of contemporary features while promising
respectable performance and battery range.
Within eight months of its launch, the new TVS iQube has sold
over 50,000 units. The price of this electric scooter in Delhi is
currently between Rs 99,130 and Rs 1.04 lakh.
With the introduction of the iQube e-scooter in January 2020,
TVS Motor Company entered the electric mobility market. But in May of last
year, it received a set of thorough updates that improved its appeal and helped
to increase demand. Within eight months of its launch, the new TVS iQube has
sold over 50,000 units.

The TVS iQube Electric scooter has many features, including a
5-inch full-color digital display for the Standard model and a 7-inch
full-color display with Joystick control for the S model. A 7-inch
full-color touchscreen is included with the ST variant. It has USB
charging ports, LED lighting, an illuminated logo near the drivetrain,
smartphone connectivity, and under-seat lighting.
Q-park assists, riding modes, day and night displays, and regenerative
braking are additional noteworthy features. You can access past ride
statistics, Over speeding and Emergency alerts, Battery charge status, Last
Park location, Navigation assistance, and call/SMS alerts thanks to smartphone
connectivity. Voice assistance and 32-liter under-seat storage are
also included in the ST variant.
Three models—Standard, S, and ST—are
available on TVS's iQube e-scooter.
The TVS iQube Electric Standard and S variants are propelled
to a claimed top speed of 78kmph and offer a claimed real-world range of
100km by a 4.4kW electric hub motor and a 3.04kWh li-ion
battery. With onboard fast chargers of 650W and 950W, TVS's
standard and S variants can charge their battery packs from 0 to 80
percent in 4.5 hours or 2 hours 50 minutes, depending on the
charger.
The ST model's larger 4.56kWh li-ion battery
pack gives it a claimed real-world range of 140 km and a top speed of 82
kmph. The ST variant comes with a 950W or 1.5kW charger
that can charge the battery pack from 0% to 80% in 4 minutes and 60
seconds or 2.5 hours, depending on the charger being used.
Telescopic forks and twin shock absorbers provide the TVS
iQube's suspension. There are front and rear drum brakes. Both ends of it have
12-inch alloy wheels. The electric scooter's Standard version weighs 117.2
kg, while the S and ST versions weigh 118.8 kg and 128
kg, respectively.
The TVS iQube's Standard price is currently Rs
99,130, while the 'S' variant has an on-road Delhi price of Rs
1.04 lakh. including state assistance and FAME II. While the
standard and S variants' prices have been made public.
The prices of the top-of-the-line iQube ST are yet to
be revealed and it’s likely to be launched next month.
The TVS iQube electric scooter competes with models like the Simple
One, Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak, and Ola S1 Pro.
