verification process, the subsidy amount will be transferred to the customer's
bank account.

The
verification process begins with dealer verification, followed by registration
and departmental verification. The Transport Inspector performs the final
verification.

After
the verification process is completed, the banking partner will transfer the
subsidy amount to their bank account within 3 working days, based on the
information provided on the portal.

Individuals,
as well as aggregators or fleet buyers, are eligible for EV subsidies.

The
early bird incentive will be offered as a subsidy to buyers at fixed rates in
specified segments for a period of one year following the date of notification.

According
to the policy, the first two lakh buyers of two-wheeler electric vehicles will
receive a subsidy of Rs 5,000 per EV, up to a maximum of 15% of the ex-factory
price.
·
For
25,000 prior purchases of electric four-wheelers, the subsidy will be Rs 1 lakh
per EV, up to a maximum of 15% of the ex-factory price.
·
The
amount of the subsidy for customers buying EVs without batteries will be 50% of
the total.
·
The
purchase subsidy incentive scheme is a component of the Uttar Pradesh Electric
Vehicle Manufacturing and Mobility Policy, 2022, which also includes this
initiative.

creation and upkeep of the portal are the responsibility of Uttar Pradesh
Development Systems Corporation Ltd (UPDESCO).
